Steamy Stir-Fried Vegetables

Fried Vegetables, healthy and great for weight watchers

We will create a steamy, delicious and mouth-watering Stir-Fried Vegetables which you can eat straight out of the pan. Once we are done, we can also add other foods such as rice or even more greens.


Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Olive Oil

  • 4 slices of Garlic

  • 1 cup of Red Onions

  • 1 cup of Mushrooms

  • 1 cup of sliced Carrots

  • 1 cup of Red and Green Peppers

  • 1 cup of Green Beans

  • 1 cup of Broccoli

  • 1 cup of Cauliflower

  • 6 Green Chillies

  • 1 cup of Fresh Coriander

  • 1 tsp of Soya Source

  • 1 tsp of Salt

  • ½ tsp Vinegar

  • 1 tsp of Black Pepper

Place a pan on top of your cooker and add your oil. Allow it to heat up before we add the next ingredient. Once our oil is heated up, add the garlic and let it heat up until it becomes a golden brown colour.


Next, add your onions and mushrooms and ensure to give it a good mix. We are importantly adding in our mushrooms early as they are raw food and need to be fully cooked to ensure they remain healthy to eat.


Now we will add our other ingredients starting with the carrots and red and green peppers. Once added, mix the content. As we add each ingredient we will need to mix so mixing is important to ensure that each ingredient gets a good amount of heat and is well mixed with every other ingredient.


Now let's add our green beans and again give the entier vegetables a good mix. Once mixed, let's add our broccoli to the dish and again give another mix.


Let's add our cauliflower and continue to mix our vegetables. Let's take a break from all the mixing and close the lid. The steam inside the pan will help to retain more of the health benefits for each vegetable while also making each vegetable super juicy. Remove the lid after about 5 minutes and add the green chillies.


After adding the chillies, again mix the vegetables. Next, let's add our fresh coriander and mix the vegetables.


With all of our vegetables now mixed in, let's add the soya sauce. This will help to boost the flavour of the vegetables. We will also now add some salt and vinegar. Again another good mix to ensure that all vegetables have touched the salt and vinegar. Finally, we will add the black pepper.


Our Dish is now ready to be served.

  • Stir-frying food allows you to use many different types of vegetables (and meat). This gives you the ability to mix any range of essential nutrients.

  • Due to the high temperature that is required to make stir-fried dishes, the heat quickly cooks the food and helps retain the nutrients.
