I will grill three baby chickens which I am sure that you will try out for yourself. There are a fair few ingredients that you will need but almost all of them are pretty common around the house or your local superstore.
Ingredients
3 tsp Olive Oil
3 tsp Fresh Yogurt
2 spoons Garlic and Ginger paste
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Chilli Powder
3 tsp Coriander Powder
3 tsp Cumin Powder
2 tsp Garam Masala
3 tsp Tandoori Powder
Prepare the chicken
Let's take the olive oil and rub it across all your chicken. This is to help create a smooth texture on the chicken which would also observe the chicken paste that we are yet to make. It also providers a lovely taste at the end.
Preparing the marinated paste for the chicken
In an empty bowl, pour in the yoghurt and add the garlic paste. Also, add in the ginger paste. Now we will need to add the salt as well as our turmeric powder. Now let's add in the chilli powder. The chilli powder will provide a small kick of a slightly chilly flavour.
Next, add in the coriander powder as well as the cumming powder. Now let's additionally add in the garam masala powder. Also, lets' in our tandoori powder now as this will help to boost the flavour.
With all our ingredients added, we will now need to mix the base. Feel free to add in some lemon juice to help keep the paste a little watery but not much as the chicken would not take it.
Rub the Chicken with the Paste
With the paste now ready, let's run all of our chickens with the paste. Once all the chickens are fully rubbed all over with the paste, cover the chicken port with a layer of foil and plate the bowl in the fridge for overnight to allow the chicken to be fully marinated.
In the morning, take the chicken out and it should be ready to grill.
Preparing for Oven
In an empty try, cover the tray using tin foil and place your chicken on the tray. Let's prepare the oven now. Pre-heat your over for 10 minutes at 200 degrees.
Place your chicken inside your over for 10 minutes at 200 degrees. After 10 minutes take your chicken out and flip each chicken to allow both sides of the chicken to be fully cooked.
Place the chicken back inside the oven for 5 minutes at 200 degrees.
Your chicken should now be ready to be served. To ensure that it has been fully cooked, take a small slice off the chicken using a small knife and the inside of the chicken should be a bright white colour.
