Fish Dish with Apples

Traditional Fish Soup but with Cooking Apples to give that extra tangy taste. This is a lovely heart-healthy dish to share with family and friends. In this video, we will prepare the dish. This is easy to make with some simple ingredients and simple tasks.
Ingredients
3 tsp Sunflower Oil
1 cup of Garlic
1 grated Onion
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 ½ tsp Salt
3 Cooking Apples
600g Fish 1 cup of fresh Coriander
600ml Water
Preparing the Curry Base Paste
Place an empty cooking pot on the cooker and add in the sunflower oil. Let's wait for the oil to be heated up before we add the garlic. Once heated, go ahead and add in the garlic. We will need to wait for the garlic to turn a golden brown colour before we add in our next ingredient.
With the garlic now a golden brown colour, let's add in our onions. Ensure to give it a good mix and then place the lid on your cooking pot to allow the onions to cook. Now remove the lid and add in the turmeric powder. Give it all a good mix to get your curry base texture correct.
We can now add the chilli powder, next add in the coriander powder. With both the chilli powder and coriander powder added, let's mix the base. With the base mixed, let's add the salt to the curry base and give it another good mix.
Now, add about half a cup of water to prevent the current base pate from burning. Close the lid for about 2-3 minutes. The curry base paste should now be ready.
Cooking Apples
Now let's add in the cooking apples to the cooking pot. Once added, ensure to mix the curry paste with the apples. Ensure that all the apples are mixed well enough so that every apple is fully covered in the curry base pates. Now let's cover the cooking pot for about 3 minutes. After that remove the lid and the curry should be ready for our next ingredient.
Adding in the Fish
With the base curry now ready with the apples, let's add in the fish. After adding in the fish, give it a mix but ensure to mix it gently. Mixing it too roughly may break the fish. After finishing your mix, cover your cooking pot for about 5 minutes to allow the fish curry to fully cook.
After 5 minutes, add your remaining water into the curry and again slow mix the curry. It's important to slowly mix to prevent accidentally breaking the fish. Once mixed, cover the cooking pot for 5 minutes
Repeat the process of gentle mixing and placing the lid back on the cooking pot for 5 minutes about 3-4 times. Your Fish with Cooking Apples should now be ready.
Finally, to keep the curry smelling and staying fresh, just add in the coriander and give it a very soft and slow mix. You should now be ready to serve.
